Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor ensures efficient storage and timely shipment of products, supervises warehouse associates, maintains inventory accuracy, and oversees shipping documentation. This role promotes a positive, team-focused culture and provides hands-on leadership for logistics and ERP systems while ensuring safety compliance and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the activities of hourly team members.
• Leads receiving, storing, pulling/picking, and shipping operations for products and materials.
• Creates and issues work orders through the ERP system in a timely manner.
• Leads job creation and material allocation for specific production jobs.
• Inspects material handling equipment for defects and coordinates repairs.
• Directs movement of shipments throughout the plant.
• Maintains equipment and facility maintenance reports.
• Drives company vehicles to pick up materials/assembly components from local vendors.
• Prepares shipping documentation, schedules pickups, and works with third-party vendors on logistics tasks.
• Adapts and responds to situations quickly while maintaining a positive attitude.

Requirements

• Associate's degree (Required).
• Supervisory experience: 1-2 years (Required).
• Warehouse experience: 2-5 years (Required).
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record (Required).
• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university (Preferred).
• ERP experience: 2-5 years (Preferred; experience with Job Boss or Visual ERP is a plus).
• Forklift experience (Preferred).
• CDL License (Preferred).
