Your Role And Responsibilities
The Warehouse Supervisor is a key member of the Supply Chain team, responsible for leading daily warehouse and logistics activities that directly support manufacturing output and customer commitments.
This role oversees a team of warehouse personnel and is accountable for material receiving, storage, inventory accuracy, Kanban replenishment, and on-time shipment performance.
The Warehouse Supervisor partners closely with Operations, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, and Customer Service to ensure uninterrupted material flow and operational excellence.
What Is Required For The Role
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or Operations Management preferred.
- Equivalent combination of relevant work experience and education will be considered — candidates with college coursework (completed or in progress) alongside strong operational experience are encouraged to apply.
- Relevant industry certifications such as APICS CSCP or CPIM are a plus.
- Typically requires 5+ years of warehouse, logistics, and inventory management experience in a manufacturing, semiconductor, or advanced materials environment, with 2+ years in a supervisory or team leadership role managing direct reports.
- Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control methodologies (cycle counting, ABC analysis), material flow, receiving, and shipping processes.
- ERP system proficiency required; SAP experience required, with SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing principles, Kanban systems, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies in a production environment.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze operational data, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions that measurably improve inventory accuracy and logistics performance.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; comfortable building and maintaining performance dashboards and operational reports.
- Forklift certification and material handling equipment experience preferred; commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence in all activities.
