Warehouse Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, picking, shipping and quality assurance of all parts orders.
• Conduct inventory cycle counts, organize and maintain inventory and storage area.
• Ensure shipments' and transactions' accuracy.
• Assign workloads, communicate job expectations, coach employees and write performance reviews.
• Achieve goals set for continuous education of senior members through the parts training curriculum.
• Interface with internal and external customers to answer questions or solve problems.
• Confer and coordinate activities with other departments.
• Mentor and train new warehouse employees.
• Lead by example in all safe work practices and procedures and verify assigned personnel are knowledgeable and following such practices and procedures.
• Inspect and maintain warehouse and equipment.

Qualifications & Experience Needed

• To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Warehouse supervisory experience: Minimum of 3-5 years warehouse experience.
• Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques.
• Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data.
• Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to stand up to eight hours per day and includes twisting, bending, squatting, sitting stooping and kneeling.
• Valid driver's license.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
