Position Summary
Haley Mechanical is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure our HVAC, plumbing, and electrical teams have the equipment, materials, and support needed to deliver exceptional customer service. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for inventory management, supervising Parts Runners, processing warranty returns, staging installation jobs, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, and support Parts Runners and warehouse personnel to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Manage the receiving, storage, organization, and distribution of materials, tools, equipment, and inventory.
- Cookordinate and oversee the staging of installation jobs to ensure field teams are fully prepared for scheduled work.
- Process, track, and manage warranty returns with manufacturers and vendors.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and perform regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with vendors to source, order, and expedite parts and equipment as needed.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to technicians and job sites.
- Establish and maintain warehouse organization standards to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor warehouse safety practices and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment at all times.
- Work closely with operations leadership to identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and other warehouse functions as needed.
Qualifications
- Required: 5+ years of Warehouse Supervisor experience.
- Proven experience managing warehouse operations and personnel.
- Strong inventory control and warehouse management skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Preferred
- Warehouse leadership experience within the HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, or home services industry.
- Experience processing manufacturer warranty returns.
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, or related service industry materials and equipment.
