The Role
We are looking for an experienced warehouse leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will lead daily warehouse operations, support HVAC, sheet metal fabrication, service, and construction teams, and champion safety and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Supervise warehouse associates, material handlers, and delivery drivers.
- Cook up receiving, storage, picking, staging, and delivery of materials.
- Ensure materials are available to support fabrication, service, and construction teams.
- Work closely with the Inventory Manager to maintain inventory accuracy and efficient material flow.
- Schedule staff and assign daily priorities to meet operational demands.
- Coach, train, and develop team members while promoting accountability and engagement.
- Coordinate jobsite deliveries and optimize transportation schedules.
- Maintain warehouse organization, staging areas, and standardized processes.
- Ensure forklifts, trucks, and warehouse equipment are inspected and properly maintained.
- Champion workplace safety by enforcing OSHA, DOT, and GSM safety standards.
- Lead safety meetings, conduct inspections, and maintain a clean, organized warehouse.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and warehouse operations through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support after-hours or emergency operational needs when required.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Three or more years of warehouse leadership or supervisory experience.
- Experience managing shipping, receiving, logistics, and material staging.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience operating material handling equipment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in HVAC, construction, sheet metal fabrication, or industrial distribution.
- Forklift certification.
- Experience leading teams in a high-volume operational environment.
