Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees and directs warehouse operations, supervises warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators, and supports the Receiving Supervisor in managing the daily freight schedule.

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees warehouse activities such as shipping, receiving, maintenance, inventory control, etc.
• Maintains storage buy transactions, receives and corrects errors, stages products.
• Maintains warehouse equipment through preventive maintenance and communicates necessary repairs to CEM and/or Operations Manager.
• Safeguards a safe and clean workplace for employees and adheres to OSHA regulations.
• Trains and enforces adherence to standard operating procedures.

• Requirements

  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, team-building, delegating, and follow-up skills.
  • Effective communication (oral and written).
  • Basic mathematical calculations.
  • Competent in Windows-based systems.
  • Fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines.
  • Extended hours availability, especially during peak seasons.

  Qualifications

  • Physical Work: Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects; use hands and fingers; stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl.

  Store Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  Pickup Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
