Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees and directs warehouse operations in retail stores. They also manage warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators, and support the Receiving Supervisor in managing the daily freight schedule.

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees warehouse activities such as shipping, receiving, maintenance, inventory control, etc.
• Maintains storage buy transactions, receives and corrects errors, and stages products.
• Maintains warehouse equipment through preventive maintenance and communicates necessary repairs to CEM and/or Operations Manager.
• Ensures a safe and clean workplace for employees and complies with OSHA regulations.
• Trains and follows standard operating procedures for warehouse personnel.
• Manages the disciplinary process and maintains a productive labor climate.
• Completes activity reports for management and resolves discrepancies in paperwork and reports.
• Executes Storage Buy Audit COP and ensures proper inventory rotation and storage.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, team-building, delegating, and follow-up skills.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Competent in basic mathematical calculations and Windows-based systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• Physical Work: Ability to exert 30-60 pounds of force occasionally and 20-30 pounds of force frequently.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.

Store Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Pickup Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
