Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees and directs warehouse operations in retail stores. They also supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators, and support the Receiving Supervisor in managing daily freight schedules.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, maintenance, inventory control, etc.
• Maintains storage buy transactions, handles receiving errors, and stages products.
• Maintains warehouse equipment through preventive maintenance programs and communicates necessary repairs to CEM or Operations Manager.
• Ensures a safe and clean workplace for employees and complies with OSHA regulations.
• Trains and enforces adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Handles employee inquiries, resolves issues, and coordinates with other departments for efficient operations.
• Completes activity reports for management and monitors workflow from receiving to inventory control.
• Executes Storage Buy Audit COP, ensures product staging and storage compliance, and oversees inventory rotation.
• Performs other related duties as directed by management.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment (preferred).
• Excellent interpersonal, team-building, delegating, and follow-up skills.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Competent in basic mathematical calculations and computer skills (Windows-based systems).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• Physical Work: Ability to exert 30-60 pounds of force occasionally and 20-30 pounds of force frequently.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.

Store Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Pickup Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
