About the role
The Warehouse Supervisor oversees and directs warehouse operations in retail stores. They also supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators, and support the Receiving Supervisor in managing daily freight schedules.
Responsibilities
- Directs and oversees warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, maintenance, inventory control, etc.
- Maintains storage buy transactions, receives and corrects errors, and stages products.
- Maintains warehouse equipment through preventive maintenance and communicates necessary repairs to CEM and/or Operations Manager.
- Ensures a safe and clean workplace for employees and complies with OSHA regulations.
- Trains and enforces adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Handles employee inquiries, resolves issues, coordinates with other departments, and completes activity reports.
- Executes Storage Buy Audit COP, ensures proper inventory staging and storage, and monitors inventory rotation.
- Manages paperwork flow from receiving to inventory control, resolves discrepancies, and handles other related duties as directed.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment (preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal, team-building, delegating, and follow-up skills
- Effective communication skills (oral and written)
- Competent in basic mathematical calculations and Windows-based systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines
- Available to work extended hours during peak seasons
Qualifications
- Physical Work: Ability to exert 30-60 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20-30 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Must use hands and fingers to handle or feel, stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Store Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Pickup Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
