Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

We’re looking to add a Warehouse Supervisor in Austin, TX to oversee a wide variety of warehouse activities including shipping and receiving raw materials and/or finished goods, maintaining inventory, and associated records. This role supports the morning shift hours: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the shipping, receiving, and distribution of goods.
• Ensure orders delivered are accurately and efficiently filled.
• Perform quality assurance checks on all products received before stocking or distributing goods.
• Maintain proper levels of stock in the warehouse to ensure maximum profitability.
• Maintain files on all equipment and conduct routine and periodic inventory counts.
• Order necessary equipment.
• Monitor employee performance, provide coaching and training, and conduct evaluations.
• Maintain open, effective communication with staff, upper management, and other departments.
• Ensure sites are adequately and routinely stocked.
• Ensure the warehouse is maintained in an efficient, neat, and safe manner.
• Accountable for the maintenance and upkeep of the warehouse.

Requirements

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Typically requires 1 year of experience working in a service industry shipping or related field.
• Proficiency in office skills: telephones, data entry, office software including processing, spreadsheets, presentation packages, and database systems.
