Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

This position is accountable for supervising warehouse activities; and providing for the safe and secure operation of all warehouse activities, equipment, employees and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Company’s WMS to effectively pull and load orders, and to adequately monitor production rates and team’s efficiency
• Maintain positive accountability of all department specific IT equipment
• Abide by and follow all OSHA rules and regulations
• Assist in keeping warehouse clean and orderly, clean up trash, level pallets, take out trash
• Perform additional cleaning tasks as needed, including scrubbing floors, charging floor scrubber, cleaning dock wells, sweeping around dumpster, organizing pallets outside, and organizing and cleaning keg cooler
• Palletize work orders and view/edit Swipeclock, entering notes as needed
• Cover/Fill in positions as needed and respond to correspondence/emails in EOS
• Create/View reports to ensure pullers are staying productive and meeting the standards set forth by management
• Load hot shot deliveries and new account orders when needed
• Train team members how to correctly pull orders and train new hires on warehouse procedures
• Secure the warehouse at the end of the shift, including locking doors, gates, and vehicles, and setting the alarm and thermostat
• Ensure all personnel are pulling correct code dates and communicate with the Delivery Manager on route loading
