Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

Pickup Supervisor - 3rd Shift: Sunday through Thursday, 6:00pm to 3:00am.

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand all aspects of the picking process;
• Ensure proper training to reduce errors;
• Ensure customer/store orders are dispatched to the Pickers;
• Work with the Stock Check and Overstock employees;
• Provide daily ongoing job performance feedback;
• Ensure performance reviews are completed timely;
• Ensure employees are operating heavy machinery/handwands in compliance with safety regulations;
• Track employees' attendance, time clock entries, and create performance evaluations;
• Maintain organization of the warehouse and picking areas;
• Implement new policies or procedures directed by the Operations Manager in a timely, effective, and consistent manner;
• Establish positive working relationships with the team and other supervisors and management personnel.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED preferred;
• Minimum of 1 year experience in the electrical industry and/or knowledge of electrical products is beneficial;
• Strong mathematical ability and good computer skills;
• Strong oral and written communication skills;
• Demonstrated time management and organizational skills, including the ability to plan and manage multiple priorities simultaneously;
• Ability to work well in a team environment and be customer service oriented;

Physical Requirements

• Able to move/lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and occasionally up to 75 lbs.;
• Able to withstand extreme temperatures in a typical warehouse environment;
• Position spends a large amount of time standing, walking, lifting, pulling, and pushing;
• Position may require climbing of ladders for top-level selection;
• The ability to work in a constant state of alert and a safe manner.
