About the role
Eaton’s ES GEIS CHD division is currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor. This role is onsite at our Washington, PA facility. The expected annual salary range for this role is $79,000 - $116,000 a year.
Responsibilities
- Manage inbound receiving processes, including documentation and SAP system transactions to ensure accurate inventory records
- Oversee inventory control for steel coil consignment, cartons, screw consignment materials, and other warehouse inventory
- Conduct cycle counts and maintain high levels of inventory accuracy and daily stand-up meetings
- Plan and coordinate outbound shipments, including building truckloads for distribution centers (e.g., Roanoke, WCDC)
- Prepare shipping documentation and ensure adequate transportation capacity
- Cookier-to-customer shipments to ensure on-time delivery
- Track shipments and ensure compliance with logistics requirements
- Serve as a liaison between warehouse operations, production, logistics, and customer service teams
- Lead and enforce safety policies to maintain a secure work environment as well as cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement enhancements
- Develop, maintain, and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Leverage SAP and other warehouse management systems to manage inventory and drive efficiency
- Leverage Microsoft Excel and Office tools to analyze data and generate reports
- Track and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support performance management and decision-making
Qualifications
- Supervisor, SCM, Material Handling, Plant Required (Basic)
- Associate’s degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in manufacturing, inventory management, or operations
- Minimum of one (1) year of leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Three years of leadership experience
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business administration, or related field
- Strong experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Strong understanding of inventory control and cycle counting
- Experience in shipping, receiving, and transportation coordination
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive operational improvements
- Strong experience within Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions in Power Query
- Experience in a Union environment
