Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management, and the ability to facilitate a positive culture. This role involves overseeing daily warehouse activities, ensuring excellent customer service and managing inventory.

Responsibilities

• Strategically manage the warehouse in compliance with company policies and vision.
• Conduct routine cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies with inventory databases, and monitor stock levels.
• Enforce health and safety legislation (such as OSHA guidelines) to maintain a secure environment for staff and contents.
• Cook with suppliers, transportation companies, and clients to facilitate smooth inbound/outbound freight operations.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A basic understanding of inventory management and sales principles.
• Typically 3–5 years of progressive experience in logistics, operations, or a distribution environment.
• Strong conflict resolution, delegation, and team-motivation skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), and basic database management.
• A flexible schedule with availability on weekends and holidays.
