The company provides residential lighting fixtures across key categories, including interior and exterior decorative lighting, bath/vanity, architectural systems and downlights, ceiling fans, and landscape.

About the role

We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at our Progress Lighting Distribution Center in Jefferson, GA. This is a full-time, salaried exempt position. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced distribution environment, balancing operational excellence with team development, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Schedule

Typical schedule is Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, though additional hours may be required to support business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily shift meetings and direct warehouse operations to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and service objectives.
  • Plan and allocate labor resources based on business demands, staffing levels, and operational priorities.
  • Supervise, coach, train, and develop warehouse associates while promoting accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and shipped on time while maintaining inventory accuracy and cost efficiency.
  • Monitor and drive key performance indicators (KPIs), including productivity, quality, safety, attendance, inventory accuracy, and on-time shipment performance.
  • Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and safe work practices.
  • Prepare reports and analyze operational metrics to support business decisions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of warehouse or distribution center experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, including industrial equipment operation, order picking, packing, and receiving methodologies.
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems (SAP preferred), and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or Continuous Improvement methodologies preferred.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
