Warehouse Supervisor
About the role
The Warehouse Supervisor at Cencora is responsible for hiring, terminating, directing, and performing associates within the warehouse. They oversee various functions including receiving, shipping, returns, picking, packing, checking, stocking, order filling, returns, and managing the cage/vault area. The role involves ensuring compliance with safety guidelines, workflow optimization, and employee development.
Responsibilities
- Hiring, terminating, and directing warehouse associates
- Overseeing the receipt of merchandise and ensuring accurate documentation
- Filling orders, double-checking, and shipping controlled substances under supervision
- Maintaining records of the delivery process and order-filling process
- Ensuring the quality of packing and maintaining detailed records of incoming and outgoing controlled substances
- Tracking attendance, monitoring performance, and managing overtime for associates
- Overseeing the cage/vault area and verifying and recording outgoing shipments of controlled substances
- Interacting with customers to resolve delivery or order filling issues
- Supporting compliance with policies, procedures, safety rules, and DEA regulations
- Coaching employees to support their development in the role
Requirements
Requires a minimum of two (2) years directly related and progressively responsible experience in warehousing operations. Broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or similar vocations is preferred. Must possess strong communication, decision-making, mathematical, analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Working knowledge of warehouse operations and computers is necessary, including proficiency in using software like Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Must be willing to work extended hours, take part in weekend on-call rotations, and participate in physical inventory if scheduled.
Qualifications
Education: Requires a bachelor's degree in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or similar vocations. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Pay
$3,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates
Schedule
Shift: Sunday 2pm- complete; Monday- Thursday 3pm-complete
Location
This position is located onsite at the Cencora facility in Kansas City, MO. There is no option for remote or hybrid work.
