Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor at Cencora is responsible for hiring, terminating, directing, and monitoring the performance of warehouse associates. They oversee various warehouse functions including receiving, shipping, returns, picking, packing, checking, stocking, order filling, returns, and managing the cage/vault area. The role involves ensuring compliance with safety guidelines, implementing improvements to increase productivity, and coaching employees.

Responsibilities

• Hiring, terminating, and directing warehouse associates
• Overseeing receiving, shipping, returns, picking, packing, checking, stocking, order filling, returns, and cage/vault operations
• Maintaining records of the delivery process and manifests
• Filling orders, double-checking, and shipping controlled substances under supervision
• Maintaining detailed records of incoming and outgoing controlled substances
• Tracking attendance, monitoring performance, and managing overtime for associates
• Ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and DEA regulations
• Coaching employees to support their development in the role

Requirements

Requires a minimum of two (2) years of directly related and progressively responsible experience in warehouse operations. Broad training in business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or similar vocations is preferred.

Qualifications

• Broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Strong organizational skills; attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of warehouse operations.
• Good communication, decision-making, analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate a reach truck.
