About the role
Buckland is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities such as receiving and storing goods, managing inventory levels, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods, supervising staff, and securing the warehouse.
- Provide the highest level of customer service to clients, vendors and service providers.
- Supervise and complete packaging, receiving, and shipping activities.
- Track in-bound and out-bound inventory.
- Collaborate with the customer service team and other departments.
- Escalate issues to managers and recommend potential solutions.
- Ensure the team adheres to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety regulations.
- Schedule and arrange needed preventative maintenance programs for all equipment to comply with lease conditions to maximize output and reduce costly repairs.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills (in English and Spanish).
- Showcase skills with Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook.
- Exercise independent judgment by providing directions and assistance with day-to-day tasks, prioritization and resources management.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with a high level of urgency and accuracy, supporting a continuous improvement culture.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams on deadlines to align schedules and priorities.
- Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback to ensure high standards of service are maintained.
- Manage a group of 15 to 20 employees.
- Conduct performance evaluations for direct reports.
