Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees warehouse operations, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to regulatory requirements. They lead a team to meet production schedules, maintain high levels of customer service, and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Safety: Promote a culture of zero safety incidents through routine safety inspections and improvements.
• People: Manage team deployment, train staff, conduct performance reviews, and ensure timely payroll.
• Operational: Coordinate shifts to align with production schedules, facilitate smooth handovers, and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Compliance: Conduct routine checks for compliance with regulatory agencies and address any issues promptly.
• Performance: Manage cycle and change-over times, identify and implement process improvements.
• Development: Train and develop direct reports, ensure all personnel have development plans, and provide growth opportunities.
• OpEx: Participate in process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in sciences or engineering preferred.
• Two years of manufacturing or related experience required, with supervisor experience preferred.
• Experience in pharmaceutical industry strongly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other manufacturing systems, such as SAP.
• Familiarity with safety, quality systems, and cGMPs, and good writing skills.
• Experience in an aseptic production environment desirable.
