Warehouse Supervisor

Supervises and coordinates activities

Schedules shipping assignments for shipping personnel
Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations
Understands, promotes and enforces Safety policies and procedures
Recommends measures to improve distribution methods, processes, performance, and quality of product
Examines and maintains warehouse equipment
Analyzes and resolves job, order, and inventory issues in Syspro
Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals
Maintains time and production records
Leads warehouse activities to pick, organize and stage material for shipment and receiving
Understands and conducts quality inspection requirements to ensure Atlas standards are achieved and adhered to
Performs duties of all job assignment when needed

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises employees in the Ashland warehouse
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
Interviews, hires, and trains employees
Plans, assigns, and directs work
Appraises performance
Rewards and disciplines employees
Addresses complaints
Resolves problems and performs job assignments (closure department, paint department, shipping department and any other department they have been trained to work) when needed

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
Experience with ERP systems required.
