About the role
Responsible for coordinating an efficient, safe, and effective receipt, storage, inventory, and dispatch of warehoused goods. Also accountable for team’s high-performance and engagement in safely and standard operating procedures of the warehouse department, in order to meet expectations regarding quality and production deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, managing performance, and coaching team members
- Set clear goals and maintain respectful accountability, providing feedback on performance and completing performance reviews
- Manage time and attendance system and team member schedules
- Lead safe team member practices and efficient production standards processes
- Coordinate an efficient, safe, and effective receipt, storage, inventory, and dispatch of warehoused goods
- Control, maintain, and supervise inventory, including conducting physical counts of products
- Monitor and measure receiving and warehouse performance for accuracy and efficiency
- Oversee the supplying of materials to fabrication and stages material for assembly and sub-assembly
- Ensure materials are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures
- Resolve discrepancies with accounting regarding invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED preferred (Associate in Business Administration preferred)
- Minimum 6 months to one year of experience in the individual contributor role
- Technical expertise, such as maintaining certifications or licenses, may be required
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to build a high performing team
- Demonstrated attention to detail, deadline-driven, and continuous improvement behaviors
- Computer skills and ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Bilingual: English and Spanish desired
