About the role

Warehouse associates are the foundation of our company’s success. As a Forklift Operator, Non Formula, you will operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, reach truck, etc.) to transport incoming freight, maintain inventory, and replenish pick slots while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Locate proper storage slots on multi-level racks and place pallets using forklifts or hand-stacking; enter product data and location into the system.
  • Perform count checks of incoming freight in staging areas and transport to freezer using forklift or pallet jack.
  • Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock items according to next day’s work orders.
  • Rotate date-sensitive stock to the front of racks and remove outdated inventory per company policy.
  • Disperse over-stocked items to available slots for temporary storage.
  • Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and strapping to designated receptacles.
  • Inspect, stack, and move empty pallets to proper storage areas using pallet jack or forklift.
  • Follow all safety policies, preferred work methods, and company guidelines; report unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Review work schedule, perform equipment safety checks, obtain supplies, and prepare for operations.
  • Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety gear.
  • Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.
  • Work from receiving sheets, computer print-outs, or verbal instructions; inspect items for damage and perform temperature/quality checks.
  • Maintain general housekeeping in work area as needed.
  • Replace batteries requiring recharging, complete vehicle inspection checklists, and secure equipment at shift end.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
  • Ability to work scheduled/assigned times and required overtime.
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
  • Ability to lift, stack, or pull products from shelves at various heights, weighing 10–35 pounds (up to 60–90 pounds occasionally).
  • Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, and dry).
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Pay

$17/hour base pay + $2/hour premium = $19/hour.

Schedule

Sunday–Thursday (Sunday shift starts at midnight; all others start at 1am until finished).
