Ryder is hiring a Permanent Full Time Shipping Clerk in Bolingbrook, Illinois. This role supports distribution across the US in a safe supply chain environment with state-of-the-art equipment.

Pay

$21.50 per hour, paid weekly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two (2) years or more experience in SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Flexibility to operate in a fast-paced environment and self-driven to excel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels
• Highly organized with excellent time management and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-up practices
• Intermediate-level PC skills in MS Office
• Intermediate-level knowledge of SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS)

This is a safety-sensitive position. Depending on location, additional screening may include employment/education verification, motor vehicle records check, road test, and/or customer-specific badging or background requirements.

Responsibilities

• Check truck drivers in and out and assign dock doors for inbound/outbound activity
• Verify accuracy of all shipping/receiving documentation and partner with the inventory department to resolve issues
• Assist in appointment scheduling as needed
• Update required reports on a timely basis
• Communicate with customers and assist with their needs
• Coordinate inbound and outbound loads
• Perform other duties as assigned
