About the role
Join the largest manufacturer of tile and natural stone in the United States as a Warehouse Associate at Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries. This role involves a variety of material handling duties, including receiving, loading/unloading material, pulling and assembling customer orders, and performing inventory checks. Daily use of forklift equipment is required.
Responsibilities
- Pull and assemble customer orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Perform inventory stock checks, restocking, and labeling vendor products.
- Maintain displays (tools, caulk, etc.) and replenish materials.
- Conduct daily cycle counts and move/store materials as needed.
- Receive and unload inbound material, process inbound shipments, and stock material.
- Process customer returns and notify management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
- Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized facility (sweeping, removing trash, restroom and general office maintenance).
- Assist customers and prepare sales slips as needed.
- Adhere to all safety rules and report accidents, unsafe conditions, or acts to management.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent experience.
- Certified Forklift Operator.
- 3+ years of previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Basic math skills, organizational skills, and customer service skills.
- Fluency in English, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.
Pay
Expected base pay for this role ranges from $35,152 to $41,000 per year at the commencement of employment. Base pay is determined on an individualized basis and may include additional compensation such as commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, and other short- and long-term incentive packages.
