About the role

The Warehouse Specialist (WS) role at TireHub involves loading, unloading, inspecting, and tallying tires to and from transport vehicles. This includes selecting, packing, counting, marking, and palletizing customer orders and placing tires in assigned staging areas according to bin locator systems. The WS also ensures safety guidelines are met by properly unloading, loading, palletizing, and stacking tires.

Responsibilities

• Selects, packs, counts, marks, and palletizes customer orders and places tires in assigned staging areas according to bin locator system.
• Operates order pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, delivery vehicles, and other equipment in the execution of duties.
• Performs required counting, tallying, and marking on related inventory control documents.
• Ensures proper unloading, loading, palletizing, and stacking of tires, while meeting safety guidelines.
• Participates in cycle counting and annual inventories.
• Completes other tasks assigned by their Leader or another member of leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to read, write, and comprehend.
• Able to lift, pull, push, and/or move tires (up to 50 lbs. or greater with or without mechanical assistance).
• Regularly stands, walks, kneels, bends, crawls, climbs, and balances.
• Accurately and efficiently unload and place received tires in warehouse.
• Loads outbound tires accurately and efficiently in delivery vehicles.
• Works at heights up to 35 feet above ground-level while tethered.
• Operates up to 8 hours per day on a stand-up order picker/forklift.
• Maintains multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment.
• Uses computer-based programs such as an iPad.
• Works independently and collaborates as part of a team.
• Maintains a TireHub sponsored forklift certification.

Pay

Schedule

Monday through Saturday - Fluctuating day shift hours.
