Warehouse Specialist II

About the role

The Warehouse Specialist II position at WinnCompanies is located at Fort Wainwright, AK, within a federal facility. Effective May 7, 2025, a REAL ID compliant driver's license/ID is required to access the facility.

Responsibilities

• Purchase equipment, materials, supplies, and tools using an electronic purchasing system to generate purchase orders and place orders directly with vendors and suppliers.
• Utilize the system reorder function to properly order quantities of products needed.
• Utilize Yardi management system to manage, issue, and order all inventory and equipment as per guidelines.
• Maintain the warehouse by physically and electronically stocking materials, supplies, and tools efficiently.
• Support providing supplies to technicians and employees for maintenance activities by issuing equipment materials, supplies, and tools physically and electronically.
• Maintain the warehouse by utilizing the system reorder function to properly order quantities of products needed.
• Support regular warehouse and vehicle inventories in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain refuse and recycling collections for maintenance operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Less than 1 year of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of basic maintenance skills.
• Superb attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to utilize a mobile device effectively.
• Ability to speak and understand basic English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Vocational or technical training.
• Forklift operation certification.
• Direct experience in purchasing and warehouse management.
