Our Schuyler location serves the farm, swine, and poultry industries, but we've never lost our small-town, community-first roots. As a Warehouse Specialist at QC Supply, you will be the backbone of our supply chain. You will ensure inventory accuracy in the distribution center, splitting your time between receiving, putting away, picking, packing and shipping orders to our customers. You will guarantee that from the moment products arrive to the time they leave, everything runs smoothly. Responsibilities
- Receive, stage, and stock incoming products, ensuring inventory management system accuracy
- Expertly pick, pack, and prepare customer and vendor orders for safe shipping
- Assist walk-in customers, process payments, and provide expert advice on agriculture and equipment parts
- Help keep warehouse and retail spaces clean, organized, and safe
- Verify incoming shipments and log receipts accurately into the inventory management system
- Stage, stock, and organize incoming freight in designated warehouse bin locations
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders securely for customers, QC sites, and vendor partners; aid in transfer into and stocking of the QC Supply on-site retail space
- Conduct routine cycle counts, physical inventories, and maintain optimal stock levels to prevent shortages
- Keep the warehouse, stockroom, and facility workspaces clean, safe, and highly organized at all times
- Process transactions smoothly via ERP systems, operate office equipment, and use computer software efficiently
- Maintain an enthusiastic, positive attitude and jump in to help teammates or handle other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- 1+ years in a warehouse or distribution environment, preferably with understanding of inventory control concepts
- Current forklift certification with proven experience operating both stand-up and sit-down lifts (major plus)
- Proficiency in using portable warehouse technology within a warehouse environment and Microsoft Office products
- Familiarity with the agriculture industry and associated parts/equipment (plus)
- Eagerness to continually learn and upgrade product and industry knowledge
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt smoothly to a changing work environment
- Strong oral communication skills with a history of balancing team goals with individual responsibilities
- Ability to read and understand basic English
- Strict adherence to organizational values, policies, and safety/security procedures
- Capacity to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Ability to remain on feet throughout shift; position requires up to 100% standing and walking in a distribution center
- Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, with flexibility for occasional overtime

Schedule
Full-time, minimum 40 hours per week with flexibility for occasional overtime. Position requires up to 100% standing and walking in a distribution center environment.
