Warehouse Specialist
About the role
GenScript Biotech Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Warehouse Specialist to support daily operations for raw materials and finished goods. The ideal candidate has hands-on warehouse experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and compliance. This role is based onsite in Redmond, WA and will pay approximately $24 - $26 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Audits each shipment prior to packing to ensure that goods are in sellable condition and match order
- Picks, Packs and labels product based on established standards
- Follows established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and compliant operations
- Processes inbound and outbound shipments, including sorting, picking, packing, shipping, and system transactions in SAP/WMS
- Inspects incoming materials for damage or discrepancies; coordinates with Purchasing to resolve issues
- Prepares, reviews, and maintains accurate shipping and receiving documentation; ensures proper record retention for compliance
- Performs inventory cycle counts, investigates discrepancies, and supports corrective actions
- Troubleshoots and resolves operational issues such as shipping delays or inventory variances; provides clear feedback and solutions
- Maintains a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment in compliance with EHS and 5S standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or higher in Supply Chain or a related field preferred
- Previous experience in warehouse operations required
- Experience with warehouse systems such as SAP, WMS, or similar platforms preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Ability to lift and move up to 45 lbs as needed
- Bilingual (Chinese/English) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills with the ability to work across different levels of the organization
- Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to work
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
