Warehouse Specialist -1st shift

Shift Available: 1st Shift, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, in our Cary, IL location.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver warehouse materials to and from production areas to meet customer promised ship dates.
  • Track on-hand inventory of materials to ensure customer orders are fulfilled.
  • Meet material demands of production areas by filling allocation sheets for material supply.
  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Prepare orders for shipment.
  • Put away used materials.
  • Maintain general cleanliness and organization of all warehouse areas.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • 2+ years of accident-free sit-down or stand-up forklift operation.
  • 2+ years of experience with shipping and receiving, including loading/unloading materials from trucks, reading and creating shipping labels.
  • Experience moving product from floor to shelving units at least 5 levels high with a forklift.
  • Experience picking product from stacked shelving and delivering to machines with a forklift.
  • Previous experience doing inventory counts and using RF scanners.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push 200–400 pounds with a cart, hand truck, or pallet jack.
  • Ability to measure and interpret measurements up to a 1/16th of an inch using rulers.
  • Good basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Ability to work independently and reliably.
  • Ability to read, write, and orally communicate in English.
