Warehouse Shipping Operator - Experienced-US

Responsibilities

• Successfully demonstrate all Level 1 tasks.
• Execute final packaging and distribution of products to appropriate destinations.
• Receive material from external operations in SAP.
• Follow instructions on delivery notes for shipments to distribution centers and customers.
• Independently pack orders for shipment.
• Receive daily products from stock transfers and outside vendors.
• Re-order supplies such as boxes, bags, labels, and packing tubes.
• Work with planners to resolve shipping or receiving issues.
• Perform tasks with little to sometimes moderate supervision.
• Maintain / complete certifications.
• Perform transactions / resolve transaction discrepancies in the SAP / ERP system required to process material movements.
• Responsible for maintaining and ensuring workplace organization programs (5S, EHS) are adhered to for the assigned area.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalency.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Previous forklift operating experience.
• Self-driven initiative and adaptability to solve problems autonomously.

• Works with clearly defined / sometimes ambiguous methods and tasks that are described in detail.
• Contributes directly to specific unskilled tasks or processes.
• Has some discretion to vary from established procedures with supervision input.
• Contributes indirectly to specific unskilled tasks or processes.
