Shipping Warehouse Operator

Principal Accountabilities

• Support rail operations, and drop-and-hook loading activities
• Operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment to safely load and unload packages on trucks, drop trailers, and rail cars
• Use SAP and all related computer systems to check in, load, and check out trucks and rail cars
• Operate trackmobile equipment and jockey trucks with trailers efficiently and safely
• Perform gatehouse operations
• Accurately complete all required paperwork
• Perform miscellaneous warehousing, housekeeping, and maintenance duties as assigned
• Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Required Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
• Basic use of a computer
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
• Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Previous forklift experience
• Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a production-related work
• Yard truck experience
• Experience with SAP and/or warehouse inventory management systems
• Basic experience in troubleshooting various mechanical components and systems
• High School Diploma/GED or a minimum of two years of relevant work experience

Compensation and Shift Differential

• $24.31/Hr
• Shift Differential: $0.55/Hr for 2nd shift and $0.75/Hr for 3rd shift
• Sign-On Bonus: $1500
