Warehouse Operator

Location: El Paso, TX • Duration: 12 months • 40 hours/week • 1st shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday–Friday) • Contract on W2 (US citizens, GC holders, GC EAD, OPT, EAD, or CPT only)

About the role

Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required. Uses judgment requiring location and storage of items, proper packaging, methods of movement of materials, and release of materials. Ability to work independently as required. May receive general supervision with little instruction on routine work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare goods for final shipment (domestic and international)
• Keep accurate logs (both written and on computer)
• Maintain knowledge of receiving and/or distribution functions
• Conduct cycle counts to maintain accurate inventories
• Effectively work in a team setting, supporting team goals and objectives
• Make effective decisions relative to position requirements

Requirements

• Sit-down and stand-up forklift experience
• Operator license preferred
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills
• Ability to safely operate all required equipment
• Must be able to pay continuous attention to detailed operations
• High school diploma or GED required

Pay

$16–$20/hour
