About the role
GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Surveillance Security Officer. The position requires a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
- Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
- Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
- Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
- Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
- Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
- Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
Qualifications
- Be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
- Be over 21 years old
- A valid driver's license is required
- Meet GardaWorld's driving requirements
- Pass an extensive screening process
- Have strong report writing skills
- Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills
- Have strong proficiency with technology
- If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
- If required, have a state license

Competitive hourly wage of $17.01 (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)
