Warehouse Security Guard

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Surveillance Security Officer with sharp observation skills and attention to detail to monitor security systems and detect threats in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses.

About the role

As a Surveillance Security Officer, you will spot threats before they escalate, ensuring the safety and protection of individuals and property.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies

Requirements

• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration skills
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Valid security license for Maryland
• Reside within a 30-40 minute radius of Aberdeen, MD
• Ability to report to work in inclement weather and holdover when needed
• Flexibility is a plus

Preferred qualifications: Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience, or prior security/logistics experience.

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $18.72/hr.

Schedule

Part-time, 24 hours per week: 11:00pm–3:00am, Thursday–Tuesday.
