About the role

The Receiving Lead is responsible for real-time analysis, coordination, and balance of Receiving Operations including task allocation to other team members. Other responsibilities include recording and reporting of inbound deliveries, providing support in reporting, researching, and resolving issues, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time, providing administrative support for Receiving Managers, developing and maintaining a working knowledge of all needed systems, supporting put-away and unloading operations, and performing under direct supervision of DC Receiving Managers.

Responsibilities

  • Real-time analysis, coordination, and balance of Receiving Operations
  • Allocation of tasks to other team members
  • Recording and reporting of inbound deliveries
  • Support in reporting, researching, and resolving issues
  • Ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time
  • Provide administrative support for Receiving Managers
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of all needed systems
  • Support put-away and unloading operations as needed
  • Under direct supervision of DC Receiving Managers

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of warehouse experience including leadership experience in a warehouse environment
  • Skilled at multi-tasking and managing competing priorities
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, SAP, and Red Prairie
  • Detail-oriented and accurate
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly recognize and diagnose trend and patterns in productivity data
  • Must be able to work flexible hours determined by the needs of the department including weekends and evenings
  • Ability to communicate proactively and effectively including comprehending and communicating detailed instructions, reading and writing, and having knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures as required by the position
  • Must be at least 18 years old to be considered for employment with Bob’s

  • Minimum qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent work experience

Pay

Starting hourly pay at $21.00 - $24.00/hour (Based on experience)

Schedule

Able to sit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, push and handle and move items weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance. Ability to move throughout all areas of the distribution center. Stand and walk continuously to perform job functions. Standing, walking, lifting, and arranging product: 90% Sitting: 5% Desk or phone work: 5%
