Warehouse Order PIck and Pack 2nd Shift

About the role

Keep our communities fed by picking, gathering and organizing product and preparing orders for delivery to local customers. Work in a light distribution environment where safety is a high priority and stay active with frequent movement throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Pick various items using order sheets or an audio headset
• Ensure accuracy to orders while adhering to safety standards
• Inform supervisor of any differences in case quantity and/or description
• Perform equipment inspections and complete appropriate forms
• Frequently lift varying case weights, shapes and heights safely
• Follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures

Physical demands

• Continually standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift
• Walking between 6–12 miles per day on concrete, tile, carpet and other surfaces
• Frequently lifting product weighing between 1–60 lbs or more
• Frequently lifting product from floor to overhead
• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
• Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma
• Availability for second shift (United States)

Pay

$20.50 per hour upon successful completion of training, then $21.00 per hour plus productivity-based incentives.

Schedule

Full-time, second shift, Monday–Friday plus overtime; start time 12:00 p.m.; weekly pay.
