Warehouse Operator - Required Forklift Driving Exp

About the role

Warehouse Operator position supporting a Medical Devices Company in Durham, NC. This is an entry-level contract role on W2 for US Citizens, GC Holders, GC EAD, OPT, EAD, or CPT candidates.

Schedule

• 1st Shift: 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday through Friday
• Duration: 3 Months
• Total Hours/week: 40.00

Pay

• $16–$20/hr

Responsibilities

• Develop skills in basic tasks, techniques, and procedures within one skill area/process/method
• Apply basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps
• Work within clearly defined SOPs and/or scientific methods and adhere to quality guidelines
• Perform work under general to limited supervision

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months forklift driving experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic skills training in an analytical/scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production)
• Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend documents written in English
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Ability to follow basic written instructions and protocols
• Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand
• Physical capability: lifting and/or moving over 50 lbs
