Warehouse Operator - Exp in Manufacturing Environment

About the role

Operates material-handling equipment such as forklifts, sit-down slip sheet equipment, pallet jacks, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished goods within a plant or warehouse. Develops skills in basic tasks, techniques, and procedures within a specific process or work area. Applies basic knowledge to complete routine tasks following prescribed steps and established SOPs while adhering to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate material-handling equipment including forklifts, sit-down slip sheet equipment, pallet jacks, and power trucks
• Move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished goods within plant or warehouse
• Complete routine tasks following prescribed steps and established SOPs
• Adhere to quality standards in all work activities

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Zero (0) to one (1) year of warehouse or related experience
• Must obtain and maintain required licenses, training, or certifications as needed
• Basic training in operational processes such as material handling, logistics, or manufacturing production
• Must demonstrate effective communication skills with coworkers and supervisors
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English-language documents
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Ability to operate in a metrics-driven environment
• Basic computer skills required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, unassisted

Physical Demands

• Regular walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, balancing, climbing, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, twisting, and grasping
• Frequent use of hands for repetitive tasks
• May require lifting or moving items over 50 lbs
• Works near moving equipment

Pay & Schedule

• Pay range: $16-20/hr
• 1st Shift, 6am-2pm
• 40 hours/week
• Overtime may be required during weekdays and Saturdays based on business needs
