Warehouse Operator 2nd Shift float
About the role
The Warehouse Operator 2nd Shift float position supports the West Springfield plant through performing critical operations that ensure efficient production flow and manage incoming and outgoing product and materials. This role requires a strong focus on recordkeeping, adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety, and compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform various warehouse operations to support production flow
- Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate records
- Ensure compliance with GMPs and food safety standards
- Operate a forklift with intermediate to expert proficiency
- Support both 2nd and 3rd shift operations as needed
Requirements
- Intermediate to expert forklift experience
- Current or previous forklift license/certification/experience
- Experience in the food industry is a plus
- Recordkeeping skills are essential
- Compliance with GMPs and food safety regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, holidays, and other shifts
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job
