Warehouse Operative

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Responsibilities

• Picking and preparing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Ensuring goods are handled and stored safely within the warehouse.
• Learning and using the company’s new warehouse/computer system when introduced.
• Providing driver holiday cover during designated periods of the year.
• Working towards agreed KPIs and maintaining high standards of accuracy and productivity.

Skills

• Forklift licence preferred but not essential (counterbalance, Reach).
• Proven experience in warehouse operations or similar logistics roles.
• Strong materials handling skills with knowledge of forklift operation (certification preferred).
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems for inventory tracking and order processing.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during load and unload tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail for quality control and accurate order picking.
• Driving licence required for this role.
