Warehouse Operative

Almac Group is currently seeking a Warehouse Operative Grade 1 for our Durham, NC location.

About the role

The Warehouse Operative Grade 1 is responsible for carrying out all material handling and inventory control activities required within a standard computerized warehouse environment servicing a distribution operation.

Responsibilities

• Pick material in preparation for dispatch to the customer
• Inventory verifications and inventory movement
• Perform second checks on temperature monitor programs for shipping staff
• Competently operate forklifts, material handling equipment and company vehicles
• Ensure that the warehouse is maintained to the highest possible standard of housekeeping

Qualifications

Required Experience / Education

• High School Diploma/GED

Preferred Experience / Education

• Clinical Trials, pharma, biotech, or other regulated industry
• Working with a wireless inventory management system
• Computerized inventory systems
• ERP system(s)
