Warehouse Operations Technician 1st Shift
About the role
Ryder is hiring an Operations Clerk in Franklin, Indiana. This position offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive career environment.
Responsibilities
- Aid in maintaining standard facility Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to consistently meet or exceed established goals in safety, quality, sanitation, and maintenance.
- Create and update daily dock schedules.
- Communicate with carriers to set appointments and update load statuses.
- Collaborate with Operations Supervisor to distribute workloads effectively and manage WMS tasks down to the floor.
- Work with the inventory department and on-site personnel to resolve issues with daily orders.
- Interact with customers to inform them of order changes and updates.
- Manage various Excel spreadsheets and reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of warehouse experience.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel).
- Working knowledge of WMS systems.
- Forklift experience (may be required based on location).
Qualifications
Some positions may require additional screening, including verification of employment and education, motor vehicle record checks, and potential background checks or security clearances.
Skills
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel), working knowledge of WMS systems, and forklift experience are essential.

Pay
$22.00 per hour for first shift (Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 5:30 pm).
