Warehouse Operations Specialist - Forklift Experience Required

About the role

Ensure safety, security, and efficiency in cargo handling, support ramp operations, maintain compliance, and deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced air-cargo environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and efficient cargo duties including export/import build-up, cargo tracing, and warehouse inventory assessments.
• Operate forklift and ramp equipment to load/unload aircraft and transport cargo between terminals and aircraft.
• Prepare flight documentation and ensure compliance with air carrier, Department of Transportation, safety, and security regulations.
• Conduct visual Foreign Object Debris (FOD) checks and aircraft condition inspections.
• Provide exceptional customer service, resolve issues, and report security breaches or non-compliance.
• Coordinate cargo movement, support staffing, and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and certification to operate multiple warehouse and ramp equipment (e.g., forklift, tug, belt loader).
• 5+ years of air cargo operations experience with advanced warehouse and ramp responsibilities.
• Experience in training, coaching, and safety improvement initiatives.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication skills in English.
