What We Are Looking For
The Warehouse Operations Lead will operate in full compliance with applicable hygiene, safety, quality, and regulatory standards, and in alignment with the organization’s framework, company’s procedures, and the defined scope of responsibility the role is accountable for.
Your Role
- Leads and performs receiving, warehousing, material handling, and distribution activities in accordance with cGMP, GDP, safety, and quality standards.
- Executes all operational responsibilities during the assigned shift while operating within defined authority limits and escalation protocols.
- Ensures materials are received, inspected, labeled, stored, staged, and issued accurately and in compliance with approved procedures and ERP transactions.
- Maintains accurate inventory records through timely system transactions, discrepancy investigations, and physical inventory support.
- Verifies material status control including quarantine, released, rejected, expired, and temperature-controlled materials.
- Oversees proper handling of controlled, hazardous, and temperature-controlled materials in accordance with regulatory and internal requirements.
- Enforces warehouse safety practices, conducts shift safety huddles, and immediately reports and addresses unsafe conditions or incidents.
- Trains, coaches, and provides day-to-day direction to warehouse associates to ensure standardized work execution and compliance.
- Supports staffing coverage by coordinating task assignments, break coverage, and workload prioritization for the shift.
- Reviews documentation for accuracy, completeness, and data integrity, ensuring real-time and right-first-time execution.
- Supports audits and inspections by maintaining audit readiness and providing documentation and responses as requested.
- Identifies and implements continuous improvement opportunities related to safety, quality, delivery, inventory accuracy, and cost.
- Interfaces with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Logistics to resolve material availability, discrepancies, and urgent needs.
Your Background
- Required Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing warehouse environment.
- Working knowledge of cGMP, GDP, inventory control, and material status management
- Preferred Qualifications:
- An associates degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Technical Field
- Experience using ERP/WMS systems for inventory and material movements.
- Prior experience in a lead, acting supervisor, or senior warehouse role.
