Duties And Responsibilities

• Move materials around the facility using a fork truck.
• Follow all safety factors, speed requirements, and proper handling of materials.
• Perform set-ups as instructed through Operation Set-Up Sheets, Plant Work Orders, and Quality Plans.
• Document all production and quality data as instructed.
• Organize and clean work area daily to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Clean equipment as instructed by Supervisor, including product change overs, daily cleaning schedules, and any projects assigned.
• Train new employees.
• Aid Maintenance Staff in the repair and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) as scheduled and document as instructed.
• Observe all Safety Rules and regulations and advise Supervision of any safety issues.
• Perform all other duties as directed by Supervision.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Forklift experience is mandatory.
• Minimum of 1+ years manufacturing experience desired but not required.
• Attention to detail.
• Good math and reading skills.
• Ability to follow directions and specifications.
• Ability to lift 50-lbs regularly.
• Ability to push or pull.
• Available to work 12-hour shifts and overtime as needed.
