Warehouse Material Handler II

Warehouse Forklift Operator / Driver position in Charlotte, North Carolina. Products handled include commercial HVAC parts. Equipment used: Reach Truck, Sit-down forklifts.

Pay

$20.00 per hour, paid weekly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of two years of related warehouse and powered industrial lift experience
• Ability to read, perform basic mathematics, and understand/respond to written and verbal instructions in English for safety, work instructions, and policies
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Ability to input data into a computer system
• Willingness to work overtime as assigned

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and apply Warehouse Management System (WMS) order instructions
• Recognize and correct potential process errors before they adversely affect the customer
• Identify damaged product at any point in the warehousing process and take appropriate action
• Pull orders accurately as assigned
• Stage orders according to carrier location and verify the number of pallets picked and stage location
• Prepare receiving, storage, and shipping documentation while retaining product accountability throughout the logistical process
• Follow location and work center Safety and Security policies and procedures
• Train others in various warehouse functions, including safe operation of powered industrial lift equipment
• Perform housekeeping duties and other assigned tasks
• Operate forklift equipment or other warehouse machinery
