Responsibilities
- Oversee all inbound and outbound tire shipments of new and retreaded tires to internal and external customers.
- Manage inventory protection, warehouse layout, and product movement.
- Deliver or coordinate delivery of work orders.
- Perform warehouse administrative duties involving billing, ordering parts, and inventory.
- Safely operate shop equipment when receiving and delivering equipment/parts.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment within the shop.
- Keep the warehouse area neat and organized.
- Provide "Service Excellence – Always" to meet the service goals of the location.
- Review shipments and advise management of shortages or damaged shipments.
- Work with Service Manager and Office Manager on proper documentation of merchandise to control.
Requirements
- 1 year of previous warehouse experience.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Forklift experience required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous supervisor or management experience is strongly preferred.
- Previous warehouse, shipping, and receiving experience is strongly preferred.
- Must possess a mechanical aptitude.
- Strong oral and written communication ability.
- Must be willing to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner.
- Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team.
- Must be a self-starter, willing to take initiative, and able to work without direct supervision.
- Willing to attend appropriate training sessions.
