Position Summary

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing raw materials, finished goods, and supplies.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all warehouse activities, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
  • Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and inventory control of raw materials, finished goods, and supplies.
  • Develop and implement efficient warehouse procedures and processes to maximize productivity and minimize errors.
  • Administer corrective actions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, implementing 5S principles and best practices.
  • Conduct forklift training to new and existing personnel, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and timely fulfillment of orders.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement effective solutions to optimize warehouse operations.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems and other software tools to track inventory, generate reports, and analyze data.
  • Conduct regular evaluations to assess employees forklift operating skills and provide additional training as needed.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
  • Five years’ experience in warehouse management, preferably within manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Proficient in using warehouse management systems and other software tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Forklift certification required.
