WAREHOUSE MANAGER

About the role

The Warehouse Manager oversees multiple warehouse operations, ensuring accurate and safe handling of customer products and goods. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service through inventory accuracy, warehouse organization, and effective staff management.

Responsibilities

• Motivates, organizes, and encourages teamwork within the workforce to meet productivity targets.
• Trains staff, monitors performance, and manages daily operations including timecard management, supply coordination, expense reimbursements, and employee onboarding.
• Hires, manages, coaches, disciplines, and promotes employees, building a skilled workforce for future growth.
• Promotes service excellence by partnering cross-functionally, investigating and resolving customer concerns, and supporting operational inquiries.
• Manages customer inventories, processes shipments, ensures quality and delivery standards, and drives profitability.
• Leverages technology to streamline daily tasks, analyze process workflows, and implement improvements in warehouse design and operations.
• Produces regular reports and statistics on warehouse productivity, identifies improvement opportunities, and collaborates with internal teams to enhance customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 5+ years of industry experience, with 2+ years of specific warehouse experience and supply chain expertise.
• Proven supervisory experience in personnel management and service roles.
• Experience with domestic and international logistics, and proficiency in MS Office applications (Exchange, Word, Excel).
• Knowledge of PO systems, enterprise sourcing, and inventory oversight for multiple locations.
• Ability to travel 10%.
