Warehouse Manager

About the role

The Warehouse Manager at Cencora is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role is critical to the company's mission of improving the lives of people and animals through supply chain services.

Responsibilities

• Manage warehouse supervisors and their teams
• Plan, coordinate, and manage all warehouse operations
• Ensure efficient and economical use of facilities
• Develop and recommend improvements to warehouse practices
• Evaluate associates' performance and implement solutions to production problems
• Enforce compliance with policies, procedures, safety roles, and government regulations
• Prepare or assist in preparing the department budget and manage to the budget

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, or a similar field
• 5+ years of directly related and progressively responsible experience, including 2+ years at a supervisory level

• Foster teamwork and coach/develop employees
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Good decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and systems, engineered standards, and regulatory compliance matters
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and work in a production-driven environment
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Knowledge of computers to operate effectively in Microsoft Office products
